Remember when you dreamed about meeting your idol and working with them? Now is the time to make your project a reality, the day has finally arrived.
OFFF Academy, your new after school playground, is launching the 2020/2021 edition of the Creative Mentorship powered by Adobe, aimed to empower talented individuals like you to help you take a big step forward in your future and help you discover your creative superpowers.
Our goal is to connect younger talents under the age of 30 from around all Europe with their professional Mentor by providing six unique creative mentorships.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Spend seven months focusing on bringing your personal creative project to life with the support of a well-known and established personal Mentor that will be assigned to you once selected as a winner. Your experience will tell a story and will inspire many young professionals who will be able to follow your journey with the Creative Mentorship powered by Adobe.
Together with OFFF, OFFF Academy and Adobe we are offering six exclusive mentorshipsto develop six distinguished creative skills:
Six lucky candidates will be selected to be mentored throughout the period of seven months. The Creative Mentorship period includes online sessions and e-mail support to help curate your personal creative project. You will get to build a professional relationship with your Mentor and transform yourself into your own creative hero. Moreover, you will get to live the mentorship experience and enthusiasm together with your fellow five young talents who share the same aspirations.
Want to get even more excited? Adobe will cover your expenses to visit your Mentor in their city for a chance to spend two days at their studio — a whole experience to learn from.
So what’s next? Select your field, share with us your project (or a new idea!) by submitting a high-level brief of the creative concept you would like to develop. You can also upload early sketches or your inspiration art-board that will help us get a clearer idea of the personal project you’d like to develop. The final selection will be done by OFFF, Adobe and the Mentor in each category.
Register soon! Submissions close on October 15th 2020.
Once you apply and get selected for the Mentorship, the following process would look something like this:
After reviewing the candidates, the selected mentors along with OFFF Academy and Adobe, will choose the winners. The lucky candidates will be announced by end of October on our social channels and through private e-mail. Additionally to the Mentor’s studio trip and presenting the project live on OFFF stage, each winner will get an annual Adobe CC subscription valued in just over 700€ (VAT included).
Adobe CC tools must be used, but not exclusively. Both for the submission and during the personal project creation.
Are you the next lucky candidate? Don’t miss the chance of your life and start building your future.
2019 / 2020 EDITION
“I learned a lot from this Mentorship. The most important lesson is 'don't be afraid to create'. Before the Mentorship I was really shy and afraid to share my work because I thought it’s not good enough to show. But after these 7 months working with Will on my personal project, I realised that every voice is important, and our community needs all kind of art. And you do not need to hide it, just express yourself.”
Vlad - Mentee to The Mill (Motion Mentorship)
“Don't be afraid of feedback! I was constantly able to share my work with my mentor whilst taking in constructive criticism. Although criticism isn't always fun; it is an important part of the design process which helps to push the project further. Learn to take criticism and take it with a pinch of salt.”
Stephanie - Mentee to Baugasm (3D Mentorship)
“It was quite interesting to get a match with a person you do not know and learn how to work with someone with different processes and culture. This program really connects people from the industry whether you are a student or a professional.”
Vallée Duhamel - Video Mentors
“This mentorship really helps by giving people a look about how our industry works. I was inspired. Vlad came into this project with a great idea but not so much knowledge on how to make it, and over the months he worked on it, he learned what motion design really is.”
